It seems that PSA is very tough on cards from the inaugural Topps hockey set of 1954, and in most respects, this Marcel Pronovost card is superior to the PSA 8 NM/MT designation. Resolute NM/MT+ corners and edges highlight a brilliantly registered image of the Red Wing defensemen beneath a generously applied glossy coating. Some specks of spray print are on the surface, but with that bright white backdrop, it's virtually unavoidable.
