Having been selected as the Pirates first choice in the annual Winter draft of 1954, Roberto who originally was the property of the Brooklyn Dodgers was starting to embark on a HOF career when this card was issued. The featured collectible has received a lofty and praiseworthy assessment from the graders at PSA and has attributes that can back up the critique. Handsomely centered with a freshness of subject that is highlighted by the powerful imagination conjuring colors as well as the exactness of the registration. The surface is replete with a captivating layer of gloss that extends to the four upper end NM/MT points of distinction. The reverse is well printed and shares the un-handled appearance of the obverse. A tremendous card offered in stirring and uplifting NM/MT condition.
