The landmark 1950 Bowman football issue has long been considered one of the most underrated and overlooked sets ever produced. A special power-packed draft helped facilitate the merger between the AAFC and NFL and help disperse a talented crop of collegiate stars such as Leon Hart, Leo Nomellini, Bud Grant, and Ernie Stautner, among several others. This complete set goes back to its roots, offered as 12 different 12-card panels to complete the 144 card assemblage. Some light wear around the edges is exhibited but the surfaces are predominantly problem-free, making each panel perfect for display or perhaps line them up framed to represent the entire series.
