Undergoing major renovations following the 1933 season, the new and improved Fenway Park opened to the Boston faithful on April 17th, 1934, and this program was available for sale for just ten cents at the game. Red Sox fans were first introduced to "The Green Monster" that replaced the bleachers along the left field line, which had been destroyed by a fire. The 24-page program for the Red Sox vs. Washington Senators game is in outstanding NM condition and is scored in pencil.
