It was a great milestone as New York Giants slugger Mel Ott took his 400th home run swing during the twinbill for which this June 1, 1941 ticket stub was issued, making him the first National Leaguer to reach the mark. Sadly, another 400 home run member, Lou Gehrig, passed the next day. Ott would gain admittance to the 500-home run club just four seasons later. PSA authenticated.
