Extremely bright and devoid of the light brown age toning on the front that is so common to the series, this 1941 Play Ball card of hurler Johnny Vander Meer was issued less than three years after he became the first and only major league pitcher to toss back to back no-hitters! What's also amazing is the fact that PSA has not had a single higher graded specimen to date! Centered almost to perfection with all attributes commensurate to the lofty PSA grade.
