After defeating William Jennings Bryan to win the 1896 Presidential election, William McKinley again defeated Bryan in a rematch four years later. The featured ticket to the March 1901 inaugural ball has the name William McKinley written on the reverse in an unknown hand. The celebration of his re-election victory was short-lived; McKinley was assassinated six months later and Vice President Theodore Roosevelt ascended to the Presidency. PSA authenticated.
