Stephen O'Neill escaped a life in the Pennsylvania coal mines for a career in professional baseball, becoming the backstop for the 1920 World Series champion Cleveland Indians and the manager for the 1945 World Series champion Detroit Tigers. Offered here is a well-preserved SGC 8.5 specimen that doesn't readily give away any glaring reason as to why it's just short of MINT status. Perhaps the top to bottom centering? In any event, it's a fresh card that has aged well for over a century.
