We've been fortunate enough to have put together a streak of auctions that include one the most coveted pasteboard debuts from the gridiron; a PSA 10 copy of Hall of Famer Joe Montana's 1981 Topps card. But it's not all too surprising as the few fortunate collectors that have had the opportunity to own such a card are noticing that Mile High Card Company is breaking new records for price realized virtually every time the card is offered. Those who carefully monitor our auctions might come to the conclusion that the PSA 10 Montana RC is more plentiful than most people think, but that would be incorrect. There are only 78 in existence, and that's out of almost 11,000 submissions to PSA. The featured card might be the strongest one we've offered so far, amazingly clean with accurate centering and four dead-on GEM MINT corners. The reverse is completely pack-fresh, offering solid black statistics and biographical information on an orange backdrop that is free from unwanted stray print.
