Often overlooked among the baseball giants of the era, Henry "Heinie" Manush compiled a lifetime .330 batting average with 2,524 hits over the span of a 17-year career en route to a 1964 Cooperstown enshrinement. His likeness is captured on this '33 Goudey pasteboard, a riveting deep orange background supporting the crisp, clear image. Centering is nearly dead-on, uncommon for the issue. Only 2 higher-graded examples are listed on the PSA pop report.
