Remembered most for his 56 home runs and record setting 191 RBI season of 1930, Wilson was a diminutive man who "officially" stood just 5'6" but boasted a bull-like 18" neck, a feature clearly displayed on this spectacular pasteboard. In fact, no other issue shows Wilson's unique build as exquisitely as his '33 Goudey card, an example of which is offered here in strong NM/MT 8 condition from PSA. NM/MT endpoints are joined by MINT edges around a predominantly clean, two-toned emerald green backdrop. What an exquisite example of this beautiful card!
