The Sporting Life newspaper issued 13" x 14" team composites from the years 1902 through 1910. All composites were printed on heavy enamel paper and sold for 6 cents worth of stamps, or 50 cents for a dozen prints. The composites feature player portraits surrounding a centered portrait of the teams manager. This 1905 Boston Americans composite features their American League championship team of 1904. Hall of Fame player/manager Jimmy Collins in the center, with Hall of Fame pitcher Cy Young and 1903 World Series hero Bill Dinneen among the 15 players. The composite reads "Boston Baseball Club 1905 American League Champions." This composite displays in Excellent shape with some light surface wrinkles, and it is matted and framed to a size of 16" x 16," ready for immediate display.
