The offered 1968 Topps Football Stand-Ups set is complete at 22 cards, which were originally issued as inserts in the ’68 Football second-series packs. The set contained stars such as Namath, Jurgeson, Kilmer, Gabriel and recent HOF inductee Floyd Little, and was designed to be folded along the die-cut outline surrounding the player’s portrait so the cards could stand up on their own. The offered set consists of five PSA 8 NM/MT specimens (Hart, Hadl, Lamonica, Nelson, Jones), seven PSA 7 NM cards (Little, Concannon, Gabriel, Karras, Ryan, Snead, Graham), eight PSA 6 EX/MT inclusions (Namath, Richardson, Osborn, Meredith, McClinton, Brodie, Blanks, Grabowski), a single PSA 5 EX (Jurgenson) and a single ungraded card (Kilmer-EX/MT). Ungraded extras of Jurgenson, Ryan, Blanks and McClinton are thrown in for good measure, grading EX/MT, and the entire set offers strong, bold colors and shimmery gloss for the gridiron pasteboard enthusiast.
