A Type 4 photo depicting six images of original pictures taken for Old Judge baseball cards. While the original card images are from 1887, this photo was made in the 1950's. The six "card" images show tow different poses for three different Philadelphia Quakers (they became the Phillies in 1890) players, Jim Fogarty, Charlie Ferguson and Tommy McCarthy. According to Hall of Famer Wilbert Robinson, Ferguson was the fifth best baseball player up to that point before Ferguson died from typhoid fever. McCarthy was elected to the baseball Hall of Fame in 1946. The 8" x 10" photo has many creases, mostly around the edges, and has a "Culver Pictures" credit Stamp on the verso. A nice items for the Philadelphia baseball collector. Certified as a Type 4 photograph by PSA/DNA.
