In 1989, the sport of baseball celebrated its 150th anniversary from when Abner Doubleday laid down the first diamond. This moment was captured and preserved in this First Day Cover, featuring Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Frank Robinson and Carl Yastrzemski, the last four surviving members of baseball's Triple Crown club. Dated January 14, 1989, the cover is boldly signed by all four in blue ink. The autographs have been PSA graded NM-MT 8.
