Hall of Famer and 500-Home Run Club member Ed Mathews is the subject of this ’53 Topps relic, recently graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. This card shows a vivid and lifelike image of the monstrous slugger, leveraged against a serene sky-blue background and slathered with a shimmering layer of gloss. Centering favors the left very slightly, and corners are appropriate for the grade. From over 800 submissions, only 12 examples have ever graded higher.
