Residing in the high-number series of the 1953 Topps release, and being a short-printed rookie card of a popular Dodger player, the offered Johnny Podres card is an appealing collectible that is sure to receive lots of attention in this auction. Graded NM 7 by PSA, this example shows grade-appropriate corners and centering with minor indications of unobtrusive toning along the borders. The surface retains much of its original luster, however, and offers strong colors and appealing contrast to the viewer.
