From the low-number series of the incredibly popular 1952 Topps release, this black-backed Allie Reynolds artifact has been graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. This card features magnificent detail in the player’s image set against a mustard-colored background, with the resilient bold colors highlighted by a distinctive layer of original gloss. A rather inconspicuous diamond cut and a soft touch to the upper right prevent an advance up the grading ladder. To date, only a single example of this variation has graded higher.
