A sharp-shooting center from Ontario, Canada, Bernie Nicholls was chosen by Los Angeles in the 1980 NHL draft and anchored the Kings' top line for almost a decade. A perennial 30-goal scorer, Nicholls' best season was in 1988, when he scored 70 goals, second only to Mario Lemieux, and tallied 150 total points. Over 18 NHL seasons, Nicholls totaled 1,209 points in 1,127 games, ranks in the top 50 all-time in goals, assists, and points, and is a likely candidate for induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Presented is a game-used L.A. Kings jersey, worn by center Bernie Nicholls during his ten seasons in Los Angeles. All numerals are double tackle twill stitched, while the "NICHOLLS" nameplate is single stitched, and the proper CCM tag is sewn into the back collar. The jersey exhibits excellent game use, with extensive scuffs, stick marks, and team repairs apparent throughout. LOA from Mile High Card Co.
