The first Swedish player to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, Borje Salming was also one of the first Europeans to make a significant impact, paving the way for other players outside of North American to play in the NHL. A 17-year veteran (16 with the Toronto Maple Leafs), Salming was one of the premier defensemen of his era, always among the league leaders in assists and willing to drop the gloves and "throw down" if need be. Offered is this electrifying, game-used Maple Leafs jersey, worn by Hall of Famer Borje Salming during his tenure in Toronto. The appropriate "Maska" manufacturer's tag is stitched into the back collar, while the numbers, "SALMING" nameplate, and Maple Leafs insignia are tackle twill stitched onto the front, back, and sleeves. Cut-down inner cotton sleeves with team repairs are sewn inside the cuff, accentuating the other apparent game use. A hockey classic from the free-fisted 70's and 80's! LOA from Mile High Card Co.
