Offered is another Cliff Battles HOF Rookie card, one of the six HOFers in this set. Four sharp NM-MT corners, deep green color and unimprovable, smooth edges highlight the obverse. Battles is showing his famous "stiff arm" method of avoiding tacklers, an image which is solidly focused. The reverse has nary an imperfection, is perfectly centered and has a dark navy blue strike. Out of 154 examples sent to PSA, only two rank higher than the offered example.
