Before there was Tiger Woods winning his 14 majors, and before Jack Nicklaus won 18 majors, there was Walter Hagen, the premier golfer during the first half of the 20th century. Hagen won a total of eleven majors, which is more important considering there were only three majors - the U.S. Open, the British Open, and the PGA - during Hagen's time. The Masters became a major after Hagen was past his peak. This Sport Kings card is a very solid PSA NM 7 example of this popular golf card. Well centered with slight corner touches shows PSA was accurate in their assigned grade. Brilliant bright orange background provides a perfect silhouette to the Hagen follow through. The reverse has some print "bleeding," but not enough to detract from the overall eye appeal.
