Here’s an impressive grouping of pasteboards from the 1965 Topps issue, all featuring Los Angeles Dodgers players and all bearing the outstanding grade of MINT 9 as assigned by PSA. In 1965, the Dodgers finished in first place in the N.L. West, then won the World Series in seven games over the Minnesota Twins behind the stellar pitching of Sandy Koufax. Included in this lot are the following cards: 77, 98, 112, 119, 126 Dodgers Team, 196, 217 Alston, 247, 279, 331, 370, 387, 405, 416, 435, 453, 527, 544, 561, 570. Some of these cards are the highest graded on the PSA pop report, and none have more than two higher-graded examples listed. This is a great compilation that will stir up many feelings of nostalgia if you’re a long-time Dodgers fan.
