Hall of Fame knuckleballer Hoyt Wilhelm makes his final pasteboard appearance in the ’72 Topps set, after an astonishing 20-year Major League career. The presented example displays dazzling white borders and MINT to GEM MINT corners framing a highly detailed and colorful image. A slight centering tilt exists but hardly detracts from the overall visual appeal. Just four higher-graded examples are known to exist.
