Big D, Don Drysdale. The name that put the fear of God into right handed hitters back in the late 1950's to the mid 1960's. From 1962 through 1965, Drysdale started 40+ games each year, throwing over 300 innings all four seasons. Not only was Drysdale a great pitcher, he was also a good hitter, twice hitting seven home runs in a single season. The offered 1960 Topps card is pack fresh example with four razor sharp corners, deep color and a crystal clear image. Only two examples of this early career issue grade higher.
