Here’s a rookie card of HOFer Willie Wood that has been graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. The full-bleed colored borders on these cards can be a nightmare when it comes to chipping and handling, but this example has survived the years with only minimal evidence of this obstacle. In fact, only the lower left corner shows grade-appropriate levels of wear, while the rest of the card truly presents at a higher level. Focus and registration are dazzling and the original application of surface gloss remains bold and lustrous.
