Graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. Presented is another from this great run of ’53 Topps cards, this one depicting Dodger pitcher Clem Labine. A captivating teal backdrop contrasts with a purplish pigment of two buildings behind the outfield fence, making an excellent canvas for the player’s portrait. Uniform, grade-appropriate light touches to the upper corners prevent a higher assessment, but these drawbacks are not readily apparent without magnification. Only two higher-graded copies are known to exist.
