Ebba, huh? Okay…the presented ’53 Topps card of Edward St. Claire has been graded NM/MT 8 by PSA, one of 28 to achieve that status with only 3 higher. This card offers a dramatic contrast between the flesh tones of Ebba’s face and the pastel blues of the background, and the bold colors of his cap really add to the visual appeal. Corners and edges are solid and grade-appropriate. Centering is shifted slightly to the right but is not readily noticeable given the soft backdrop.
