Tigers outfielder Barney McCosky appears on this ’41 Play Ball specimen, graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. This card shows excellent centering and a solid NM/MT surface still protected by an ample dosage of factory gloss. Corners and edges show minimal evidence of handling commiserate with the opined grade, but the true visual appeal stems from the interesting art deco-like background colors. Only a single higher graded copy is recorded, a slightly superior NM/MT+ 8.5 example.
