A notoriously difficult card to obtain in top-tier MINT condition, this SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5 example of Reggie Jackson's rookie card is right on the doorstep, but denied by the strict supervisors from New Jersey. Clean, precise color as well as intense layer of shiny gloss are two key attributes of this wonderful specimen, while the centering is close to perfect, with just a hint of a bias toward the bottom edge, and the corners are solidly MINT three out of four times, with each point displaying outstanding sharpness. The reverse boasts a gleaming salmon tint that shows no fading or inconsistencies in shade throughout and flaunts a chip-free appearance. A thrilling high-grade example of an important issue from the 60s.
