Offered is a delightful assemblage of 18 HOF players from the 1940 Play Ball set, all recently graded by PSA and making for a great offering for the dedicated baseball historian. The 1940 Play Ball set was the company’s largest production, with 240 cards featuring a more attractive front than the previous year’s issue due to the inclusion of an ornate frame and the player’s name.
