1967 was the last year a batting Triple Crown was won in the major leagues, by none other than the subject of the featured card, Carl Yastrzemski. Yaz batted .326 with 44 jacks and 121 RBI while helping the Red Sox win the American League pennant in the year of the “Impossible Dream.” The offered card has been graded MINT 9 by PSA, falling within the top 5% of all similar submissions with just 3 higher graded examples on the pop report. Color and focus are unimprovable, corners are legitimately MINT all the way around, and borders are clean and white. This is a tremendous card from a very important year in Red Sox history.
