Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Unquestionably one of the most sought after cards of both Jackie Robinson as well as all of the 1950's cards in general. While the featured cardboard relic may lag a year or two behind the 1948 Leaf issue as well as the 1949 Bowman release it does offer up the immortal Jackie in a full color and full body pose that is a much more handsome rendition of the great American Baseball pioneer. Four stellar 90 degree angles frame the card and show no absolutely no evidence of wear at any of the exceptional sharp points. The centering is spot on and seemingly contains the image as if it were a fine piece of art. The surface gleams from beneath a scintillating layer of gloss that expounds the tremendous rendition of the off white of the Dodgers home jersey when set against the green infield grass and gray stands of Ebbetts field. The reverse is well struck and provides a stunningly well inked bio of the man who broke the modern color line in America's Pastime. Offered in satisfying and defining MINT condition.
