This SGC 96 MINT example of Pete Rose's 1963 Topps Rookie Stars issue boasts near perfect centering with sharp MINT to GEM MINT features in every manner. The upper two blue corners are pin points with no chipping, while the bottom two corners are clearly GEM MINT. The edges and surface are also perfect with the dripping wet glossy surface free of any bumps or bruises. No prints dots within any brightly colored surface. The reverse is MINT and, similar to the front, is nearly perfectly centered. This is one of 8 copies graded by SGC MINT 96 with only one higher,while a check of the PSA website reveals only one GEM MINT 10. An extremely strong example that stands head and shoulders above most of the MINT 9 examples on record from both SGC and PSA, and is very close to GEM MINT perfection.
