The offered Ernie Banks issue displays qualities ranging from NM/MT to MINT, leading SGC to split the difference and assess this 1955 Topps specimen of "Mr. Cub" as SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5. The reverse is virtually flawless, the edges approach MINT status, and the corners, while not perfect, are sharp enough to easily fit into the NM/MT+ designation. A sharp, pack-fresh example of Mr. Cub's second-year issue!
