The offered card from the coveted ’52 Bowman Large issue is one of just 3 to be graded 88 NM/MT 8 by SGC, with just one higher on the SGC pop report. Centered astutely amid smooth, white borders, the image offers great contrast between the deep blue of the player’s helmet and the bright red of his jersey against the light blue background. Solid MINT corners leave the viewer wondering what is preventing a higher assessment; perhaps the top border shows a little too much blue above the line from the printing process.
