Graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. Presented is the rookie card of the player who was simply known as "The Great One." Issued along with the 1979-80 OPC release, Gretzky appears as a skinny teenager, not the savior of a sport and a league. The card projects as an exceptionally high end example with outstanding color and a strong overall registration. Each of the four corners appear at the upper end of the grade while the left border does show a rough cut that is typical of the issue. A stunning card that should be included in any serious collection.
