A real five-tool ballplayer, the fabulous Mr. Willie Mays is featured on the first card of the 1966 Topps set. Recently graded NM/MT 8 by the visionaries at PSA, the offered example displays a brightly colored and highly focused image of the “Say Hey Kid” protected by a lustrous coating of surface gloss. Centering favors the east in the slightest of ways but is barely, if at all, noticeable. A strong NM/MT 8 specimen suitable for any collection.
