Graded VG 3 by PSA. Offered is one of if not the most popular and important cards in our entire hobby. The featured collectible captures the young phenom at the beginning of his illustrious career in what is without a doubt the most well known pose of any card in the hobby. The card presents beautifully with an exceptionally well centered image that extends out to corners that show evidence of light wear not to be confused with mishandling. The interior of the pasteboard presents at an exceptional level in terms of eye appeal with a deep azure blue background surrounding a perfectly registered image of "The Mick" who is rocking a lightly colored bat over his right shoulder and sporting a regal navy blue Yankee cap on his head. The surface does show a series of small "spider" wrinkles at the upper left portion of the card extending into his cap but not breaking the paper and also not taking away from the overall presentation of the card.
