Offered is a stunning MINT 9 example of Yankee legend Billy Martin from the 1956 Topps set. A quick look at the PSA “Pop Report” reveals that this card has only one superior specimen and ranks amongst the top 2% of graded examples in the entire '56 Topps set. An amazing explosion of blue, brown, green, yellow and white hues combine to create a feast for the senses. The image is almost perfectly centered, while the corners enjoy a sharpness rivaling more contemporary issues. The reverse is equally well-printed with no evidence of any printing anomalies. A stellar card offered at the top end of the grade!
