Game-used jerseys always manage to captivate the sports aficionado, especially if they carry a bit of historical significance. Case in point, this game-used San Diego Padres jersey, worn by Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry, is enough to excite any collector. Even more significant, though, is that this jersey was worn during the 1978 season in which Perry won 21 games and earned the Cy Young award. This beauty shows great game use, with minor fraying on the stitching and a custom cut on the collar, while the appropriate Wilson size 46 and team stitched "36 78" are in place to verify the year.
