While the 1956 New York Yankees featured a starting lineup resembling an All-Star team, it's no surprise that the Bronx Bombers won 97 regular season games and belted 190 home runs on their way to a 5th World Series championship in 7 years. Assembled for this 1956 Topps issue, the likenesses of Berra, Mantle, Ford, Martin, and the rest are captured in living color and framed by a squeaky-clean white border that slightly favors the bottom edge when seen horizontally. Corners and edges are commensurate with the PSA 8 NM/MT designation.
