Widely considered the greatest goaltender to ever play in the NHL, Patrick Roy was the starting goalie on four different Stanley Cup championships, two each with the Montreal Canadiens and Colorado Avalanche. Roy popularized the butterfly style of goal tending, creating a new wave of similarly styled goalies. This very large Canadiens road jersey has the "C" emblem on the front with blue and red stripes along the bottom. Both shoulders have Roy's number "33" in blue on red stitched tackle twill. Within the collar is the "Maska" manufacturers tag, next to the size "56" tag. The reverse has the name "ROY" in blue tackle twill stitched onto a white nameplate. Below the name is the number "33" also in blue on red stitched tackle twill. Along the bottom is the "CCM" and "NHL" logos. Within the lower front tail is the velcro and clasp fight tag, and if you know Roy, he needed this on several occasions. The jersey is signed in blue sharpie on the front "Patrick Roy 33". The jersey shows nice game use with many stick marks on the front and back. LOA from Mile High card Company.
