Graded by PSA MINT 9. Arguably the most popular regional food issue of the 1950's, the Mantle Red Heart to is the most popular card in the most popular issue. That is a recipe for success. Offered is an exceptionally sharp MINT example of Mickey Mantle's electrifying 1954 Red Heart Dog Food issue. Many times this card will have a light blue sky background. Not this issue! The azure blue sky is bold and deep, offering the perfect frame to Mantle's radiant smile. The corners and edges are essentially unimprovable, and the image is keenly registered and seemingly dripping in factory fresh gloss. A few minor imperfections can be observed on the bottom border, near the New York Yankees name, but the colorized face is perfectly resplendent with nary an imperfection, as is the perfect reverse. A great example of this card, solid MINT 9 condition with only two graded higher!
