After 12 seasons in the NFL, quarterback Daryle Lamonica joined many other NFL mainstays in bolting to the newly-formed World Football League, joining the Southern California Sun. Presented is his rare, game-used and autographed home jersey from that 1974 season. On the bottom left tail is the stitched Sand-Knit X LARGE label, accompanied by an exclusivity tag that reads, "Designed and Tailored Exclusively for the World Football League." On the front, back, and each sleeve is the player number "3" in pink and red, screen printed onto white pieces of material and stitched over the original "7" on the jersey, characteristic of the budget-challenged league. Lamonica's signature appears in bold, blue sharpie above his screen printed name on the reverse. The jersey shows excellent game use and has no alterations other than the number change. LOA from Grey Flannel, JSA, Mile High Card Co.
