Known for pinpoint accuracy on the mound, Hutchinson was no liability with the lumber as he carried a lifetime .263 batting average with 83 RBI in 650 career at-bats. Tiny print marks scattered just inside the top border are overcome by nearly perfect centering and superior NM/MT+ corners on this PSA 8 NM/MT example of Fred Hutchinson's 1953 Bowman Color issue. Only a total of 20 specimens have graded PSA NM/MT, making it one of the extreme low pops in the '53 Bowman set.
