A light hitting third basemen for the Cincinnati Reds, Chuck Dressen made a more significant mark on baseball as a manager, winning over 1000 games in his career and leading the Brooklyn Dodgers to back-to back pennants in 1952 and 1953. Pictured on this '53 Bowman Color issue, Dressen's huge portrait is extremely well-registered and precise, save for one small print mark on the bill of his Dodger cap, while the well-framed perimeter contains NM/MT+ corners and edges. A dazzling specimen!
