Graded NM/MT 8 by PSA, this 1953 Bowman issue is an absolute work of art! Set against a backdrop of cloudless blue sky with Yankee Stadium flags blowing in the mid-summer breeze, the stoic expression of Wight as he stares in at his next Bronx foe recaptures the nostalgia of the great American pastime. A moderate centering shift toward the top edge is offset by four stern NM/MT corners and an admirably clean surface. Only 3 have graded higher at PSA.
