An excellent pitcher, but not quite Hall of Fame material, Pierce was a 200+ game winner and 7-time All-Star, having posted consecutive 20-win seasons in 1956 and 1957. The offered example of Billy Pierce's 1953 Bowman Color issue is excellent as well, a stunning PSA 8 NM/MT with only 5 deemed superior by PSA. NM/MT to NM/MT+ corners surround an almost perfectly centered image of the Chicago ace, while the prudent color print exhibits just a random print mark or two. Definitely Set Registry worthy!
