Here's a high-end '53 Bowman Color that just missed the half-grade cut at PSA. This Hank Sauer example boasts NM/MT to MINT corners, an accurately registered image, and a clean reverse surface. A moderate centering bias favoring the right side was likely the deciding factor for PSA to play it safe with a NM/MT 8 assessment, but with only one ever graded higher, it may be worth resubmitting.
